Agreement
These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of picklepioneers.com and to orders placed with Pickle Pioneers LLC (“Pickle Pioneers,” “we,” or “us”). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.
Our products
Our pickles are handcrafted in small batches, so availability can change and each jar may look a little different from our photos. If you have a food allergy or a question about ingredients, please contact us before ordering.
Orders and pricing
- Pickles are $10 per 16 oz jar.
- Kingswood Oxford (KO) students and teachers pay $8 per jar.
Prices and availability may change without notice. Your order is confirmed once we’ve reviewed it. If we can’t fill an order, for example because a flavor sold out, we’ll let you know and refund anything you paid.
Payment
Payment is handled as described on our order form, or arranged with you at pickup or delivery. KO students and teachers may pay in cash.
Delivery and pickup
- Delivery is free within West Hartford, CT, for orders of two or more jars.
- Pickup is available at our West Hartford pickup location (the address is on the order form) and at the Mandell JCC.
We’ll coordinate timing using the contact details you give us. Please make sure someone can receive your delivery or pick up your order promptly, since our pickles need to stay cold.
Storage and food safety
Keep your jars in the refrigerator. It says “Refrigerate me!” right on the lid. If a jar ever looks, smells, or tastes off, don’t eat it, and let us know.
Problems with an order
If something isn’t right with your order, contact us and we’ll work with you to make it right.
Merchandise
Hats and pickleball paddles are ordered by email. We’ll confirm price, availability, and delivery details with you before you pay.
Markets and events
Selection and prices at farmers’ markets and events may differ from what’s offered online.
Our name and content
The Pickle Pioneers name, logo, badge, dancing pickle character, photos, and website content belong to Pickle Pioneers LLC. Please don’t use them without our permission.
Other services
Our site links to and embeds services we don’t control, including Google, Venmo, and Instagram. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
Disclaimers and liability
The website is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent the law allows, Pickle Pioneers LLC isn’t liable for indirect or consequential damages related to your use of the site or our products, and our total liability for any claim about an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows the current version.
